Sahara One or OneR?

Today, I watched Yahan, produced by Sahara One Motion Films. What? No.

Today, I watched Yahan, produced by Sahara Oner Motion Films. What? No. Not possible.

Today, I watched Yahan, produced by Sahara One Motion Films. What? …

Yeah man, thats the confusion. I am confused whether the entertainment division of Sahara group is called Sahara One or Sahara Oner. Their logo and wherever their name comes in an official sense, it is called Sahara Oner. Else, it is promoted as Sahara One. And look at their logo below – how small and invisible that R is:

Aint a big deal obviously – but something very very interesting. You never know what these biiiig media houses cook up these days! As a note, Sahara OneR seems to be producing every second bollywood movie.

As another note, Yahan is a good movie. Nice smooth story. No logical glitches. Good acting by most, specially the small girl Sri who plays sister of Ada, the leading lady. Ada is too white and looks like painted with that makeup throughout. But she acted well. Also, Kashmir looks beautiful in the movie. Go watch it on a nice day. Won’t be a load on you!

Fiat Padmini

I was driving to work today morning and as usual was stuck in my favorite jam. And, awk! I saw a Fiat Padmini Premier beside me. Man, people still drive this thing? I remember sitting in my uncle’s Padmini some 20 years back! Its remarkable that this car has run for so long. Anyway, did some googling. Somebody wants to sell it. Somebody wants to buy it too!!

Mumbai is in a bad shape

Was just hearing the news on TV. 2 days after the devastating rains, now fear of epidemic outbreak has set in. The administration might be trying its best, but the efforts are inadequate. The city will surely come out of this mess. But the losses are huge. I feel for ya Mumbaikars. May God help.

Moment of Truth

Well, monsoons are in sight after a scorching Delhi summer (forgive me for my optimism – they are at least 20 days away). Time has been passing by and, I have not been doing a lot of things. A quick inventory:

I have not been blogging for a month now.
I have not started any work on some brilliant ideas.
I have not been managing my money well. In fact, it’s draining down in a plunging stock market.
I have not taken good care of my car. Its AC doesn’t cool well. It doesn’t run very fast. And, it gobbles up an obscene amount of fuel.
I have not taken a vacation yet.
I have not been able to sit down and think and devise a strategy for the future.
I have not been able to catch up with old friends.

Ha! Just discovered – blogging is such a great tool to know for yourself what you have not done, what you can’t do and what you shouldn’t do. Blogging is an art.

Anyway, what to do now? Nothing. Step back. Reload. Fire. Blog.
